chén pí is used for patterns with
spleen and stomach qi stagnation, lung-phlegm, phlegm-dampness obstructing the lungs, turbid dampness obstructing the middle jiao, rebellious qi, uprising qi (descends qi).
symptoms indicating the use of chén pí
epigastric or abdominal distention, fullness, bloating, belching, nausea, vomiting, morning sickness, coughing, a stifling sensation in the chest and/or diaphragm, copious, viscous sputum, anorexia, fatigue, loose stools.
not in yin or fluid xu, overdose causes nausea.
